what kind of seat did you use, when I did the reivers and ctoc all in one we all had trouble with blisters and soreness on our behinds.

I used the seat that came with my Specialized Roubaix when I got it the year before. I'd never had problems with the seat on other rides, so decided not to try anything new for the big one. I also used relatively thin-padded shorts rather than getting thicker ones like Assos Mille. Finally I did use Assos Cream every day, which among other things acts as a lubricant to cut down on abrasion.

we are doing the ride in june 2010 and fancy useing a 4 berth camper van as a back up and somewhere to sleep. My question is do you know where we can rent one cheaply as they all seem to be expensive to hire or someone who will let us use it for the publicity .
